Matchup 3 - Nick Mullens vs. Pressure

Now, this could refer to the pressure from the Bengals' defensive line, but in reality, the "pressure" refers to Mullens getting his first start of the season this week against the Bengals.

Mullens has started in the NFL before, but that doesn't mean he won't be feeling the pressure this weekend. With Minnesota fighting to stay in the playoffs, a lot is riding on his performance.

Most Vikings fans are not expecting Mullens to go out there and light the world on fire, but after an abysmal last few games from Josh Dobbs under center for Minnesota, they are going to want more production from Mullens.

Mullens looked good in his playing time against the Raiders last week, and if he can keep that up, there should be no problems with him staying as the starting quarterback for the Vikings for the foreseeable future.

All Minnesota fans really want is a game that isn't tied 0-0 with less than three minutes remaining in the fourth quarter. A task that Mullens should be able to accomplish if he stays calm and plays his game.
