Minnesota vs. Ball Security

The current fumbling problem in Minnesota is downright inexcusable. Vikings fans tried giving the team the benefit of the doubt to start the season, citing that the starters had no preseason playing time, but that well ran dry very quickly.

Minnesota has now lost at least one fumble in each of their three games, something that cannot happen if they want to get a win on Sunday.

Vikings head coach Kevin O'Connell was very blunt earlier this week when he was asked about the fumbling issue with the team, as he told reporters that players who cannot hold onto the ball in Carolina will be benched.

It's a good sign to see O'Connell get some fire in him, but he can't hold onto the ball for his own Minnesota players when it comes to game time.

If the Vikings want to have any chance of getting a win over the Panthers this weekend, they need to hold onto the ball. Simple concept, right?
