Jordan Addison vs. Kansas City's CB2

The Chiefs have two impressive cornerbacks in Trent McDuffie and L'Jarius Sneed. It is unknown which player will be covering Vikings star wide receiver Justin Jefferson, and it could even be a rotation between the two.

But whoever isn't on Jefferson will be tasked with covering stud Minnesota rookie receiver Jordan Addison. Addison was drafted for this exact reason: to give the Vikings an option outside of Jefferson.

Addison had a quiet week against Carolina, leaving the game with a goose egg in the receiving category, so Minnesota is hoping that he can bounce back this week in a big way.

Addison is still just a rookie, so he is expected to have his off days, but there should be no worry that he can produce this week. If Minnesota wants to have their passing game working on all facets, they will need their rookie wideout to keep Kansas City's defense in check.

Giving defenses another player to worry about frees up space for Jefferson, and if the Chiefs' defense decides to focus all their attention on Jefferson, then Addison should be there to make them pay.
