Vikings run game vs. Bears defense
The Bears have had a solid run defense this season, but with Minnesota missing Justin Jefferson, it's time for Minnesota to lean more on the run game.
After an abysmal start to the year on the ground for the Vikings, the run game has picked it up in a big way in the past few games, and it will need its biggest game of the year against the Bears.
Controlling the clock and being able to run the ball effectively may seem like an old-fashioned style of play, but sometimes it's okay to go ahead and RTDB (Run The Dang Ball!).
It's time for Alexander Mattison and Cam Akers to put in some work and take the pressure off the passing game that is without the best receiver in the league for at least the next four weeks.
Can the run game that has seemed like an afterthought ramp things up and carry the weight? This week is their time to shine and prove they're more than just an accessory to the offense.
