Bust No. 1

Lewis Cine - S

Lewis Cine will be forever linked to Kwesi Adofo-Mensah because it was his first pick. He'll gain extra notoriety because that pick was a failure.

Even the biggest Cine supporters have to have lost hope by now.

His supporters will point out that he broke his leg during his first season but then they'll also forget he was fourth on the depth chart and relegated to a special teamer before that.

Adofo-Mensah and Kevin O'Connell were also asked about him at their end-of-the-season press conference. They immediately came to his defense, citing the aforementioned injury but then also stating that he had to learn a new defense.

But you know what? So did everyone else.

Cine went from the fourth safety to the fifth, falling behind Theo Jackson, who the Vikings signed in the middle of the 2022 season.

If there was any hope left for Cine, he would have some stats at this point and done something on defense to give us fans some hope. Instead, he's mustered just one tackle.

One tackle from someone the Vikings took in the first round. One tackle through two seasons. Ouch.

Cine's fallen so far behind that at this point it would be a mild surprise if he even makes the roster in 2024. Cine is a bust, it's okay to admit it. Sometimes it happens, and unfortunately, it happened to Kwesi's first-ever selection as a general manager.
