3 draft picks Minnesota Vikings got right in 2023 and 2 they will regret

Draft pick the Minnesota Vikings got right No. 3
Jordan Addison - WR (USC)
- Selected: 23rd (1st Round)
- Consensus Big Board Ranking: 24th (1st Round)
Jordan Addison is certainly a prospect that helps strengthen the validity of the consensus big board. The draft industry experts believed the former USC wide receiver would come off of the board in the 20s, and that's exactly what happened.
Even though Addison was the fourth of four-straight receivers that came off of the board in the first round of this year's NFL Draft, he appears to be the guy the Vikings had their eyes on anyways.
Addison is arguably the best route-runner to come out of the 2023 draft. The young receiver is just excellent at creating separation and getting open for his quarterback, something that Minnesota lacked from their wide receivers not named Justin Jefferson last season.
Speaking of Jefferson, his life should be made a little easier following the addition of Addison. If all goes well, some of the attention Jefferson gets on a weekly basis will switch to the rookie, and the Vikings' star receiver will get a few more opportunities to prove why he's currently the best pass-catcher in the entire NFL.
