When it comes time to make improvements to their roster during the 2024 offseason, who are some of the players the Minnesota Vikings should be willing to trade?

Following a 13-win performance in 2022, many expected the Minnesota Vikings to find their way back into the playoffs this season, at the very least.

But with one week left in the 2023 regular season and the Vikings sitting with a 7-9 record, a return to the postseason has now become an unlikely outcome. Meaning, after their Week 18 matchup against the Detroit Lions next Sunday, Minnesota will immediately begin their 2024 offseason.

This upcoming offseason will be the third one for the Vikings' current regime of head coach Kevin O'Connell and general manager Kwesi Adofo-Mensah, who were both hired back in 2022.

With a number of critical decisions that have to be made during the next few months, this will arguably be the most important offseason for O'Connell and Adofo-Mensah since joining Minnesota two years ago.

Among the list of paths the Vikings could explore during the upcoming offseason, moving on from some of their longtime contributors could be on the table.

Some of these players are nearing the end of their time in the NFL, while others have just become too pricey for Minnesota to afford. Ideally, the Vikings would like to trade some of these guys so that they can get something in return instead of just getting nothing by releasing them.

So, when looking at their roster heading into the 2024 offseason, who are some of the players Minnesota should be willing to listen to trade offers for if any interested teams give them a call?
