Heading into the 2023 season, there is a lot to be excited about when it comes to the Minnesota Vikings. The hope is that they can replicate their 2022 season and prove a lot of doubters wrong.

It is no secret that the 2022 season didn't end the way the Minnesota Vikings hoped. There were a lot of ups and downs throughout, and in the end, some significant changes were made in the wake of an upsetting loss to the New York Giants in the wild-card round of the playoffs.

This offseason, veterans Adam Thielen and Eric Kendricks moved on to different teams, and Ed Donatell was relieved of his duties as Minnesota's defensive coordinator in favor of former Miami Dolphins head coach Brian Flores.

Pass rusher Za'Darius Smith forced a move out of Minnesota, but free agents Byron Murphy and Marcus Davenport now don the purple and gold in hopes of improving one of the worst defenses in football from 2022.

Heading into the 2022 season, expectations were at a minimum. Many expected the Vikings to go into full rebuild mode, and many believed this team couldn't get close to 13 wins.

Heading into 2023, there still seems to be plenty of doubters, but some sing a different tune when it comes to the 2023 Vikings.
