Reason No. 1
Justin Jefferson will feast against the struggling Panthers cornerbacks
Justin Jefferson leads the NFL in receiving yards with 458 through the first three weeks of the season and does not look to be slowing down.
The All-Pro receiver is going to see a ton of double coverage on Sunday. But at some point, the Panthers are going to have to leave their corners on an island, and the likes of C.J. Henderson and Donte Jackson seem like they could be some of Jefferson's more favorable matchups of the season.
Even when Jefferson is double-covered, he's open. His ability to attack the football is elite, and in this game, Carolina is likely going to employ two high safeties, and for the majority of the matchup, Jefferson will probably be double-covered.
This could open up opportunities for Vikings rookie wider receiver Jordan Addison to have a big day. But as we have seen through the first three weeks of the season, Minnesota's offense and Kirk Cousins rely heavily on Jefferson.
