Reason No. 3

Bryce Young's inexperience

First-year quarterback Bryce Young is going to be fine, so Panthers fans can breathe. But as of now, the former Alabama signal-caller looks like he is still figuring it all out.

Young missed Week 3 with an ankle injury, and during that game with veteran Andy Dalton at the helm, Carolina's offense actually looked more in sync than they did in their first two matchups of the season with the rookie under center.

It doesn't get any easier for Young in Week 4 as he will have to face Brian Flores' fast-paced, attacking defense, which leads the league in blitz rate through three weeks.

The Panthers' offensive line has struggled in 2023, so this could be a big game for the Vikings' defense, especially pass rusher Danielle Hunter, who sits tied for second in the NFL in sacks heading into Week 4.

Young will look to former Minnesota wideout Adam Thielen to help keep them in this game. But in the end, the speed of Flores' defense will be too much for Carolina's rookie quarterback to handle this early in his career.
