Addison is following in the footsteps of a former Viking
There have been a few players from Frederick County, Maryland, to play in the NFL and Addison is one of three players from the country to participate in the 2023 draft.
However, he is the first receiver from the country to be picked in the draft. Furthermore, Addison follows Vikings royalty as the second-highest NFL pick in county history.
The highest pick from Frederick County was former Vikings running back Chuck Foreman, who attended Frederick High School and was picked 12th overall by Minnesota in the 1973 NFL Draft.
