The Minnesota Vikings left their Week 6 matchup against the Chicago Bears with a win. Which Vikings deserve more praise for their help in the team's victory?

The Week 6 victory over the Chicago Bears by the Minnesota Vikings this past Sunday was the epitome of the term "a win is a win."

Minnesota's 19-13 win didn't have much excitement to it, but they found themselves with their second win of the year, and they are now 1-0 in the NFC North this season.

While the game was rather ugly all around, the Vikings still went out on the road and took care of business against a divisional opponent.

After the dust settled, Minnesota players like linebacker Jordan Hicks and pass rusher Danielle Hunter got their praise for their performance against the Bears, and rightfully so.

But which members of Minnesota's roster deserve more love from the fans for their efforts in the team's Week 6 win?

Viking No. 1

Josh Metellus - S

Has there been a Vikings defender who has benefited more from the Brian Flores hiring than Josh Metellus?

The 2020 sixth-round pick has progressed every year he's been in the league, and it's looking like 2023 is his breakout season.

Week 6 in Chicago was another stellar game for Metellus, who has become a mainstay in Minnesota's defensive scheme.

Metellus made the biggest play of the day against the Bears when he strip-sacked Bears quarterback Tyson Bagent, which turned into a Jordan Hicks scoop and score for the Vikings.

Hicks may have gotten the touchdown, but that play doesn't happen without Metellus coming off the edge and jarring the ball loose.

The Minnesota safety ended the day with eight tackles (two for a loss), two QB hits, one sack, and one forced fumble.

Metellus is really coming into form as the season moves on, and his Week 6 explosion may just be the beginning.
