RB No. 4: Darrel Williams

2022 Team - Arizona Cardinals

Before a forgettable 2022 campaign with the Arizona Cardinals, Darrel Williams had a successful first four years in the NFL with the Kansas City Chiefs where he average over five yards per touch while accumulating a total of 1,674 yards and 14 touchdowns.

After Clyde Edwards-Helaire went down with an injury, Williams got the chance to start in seven games for the Chiefs in 2021. He made the most of his increase in opportunities as he rushed for 558 yards and six touchdowns on 144 carries while also catching 47 passes for 452 yards and another two scores.

For whatever reason, his success in Kansas City didn't translate to his lone season with the Cardinals in 2022. With Arizona last season, Williams rushed for just 102 yards and one touchdown on 21 carries in addition to only catch four passes for nine yards.

At 28-years-old and four conference championship appearances in his NFL career, Williams could be a valuable asset to a young Vikings running back room that's hungry to help their team achieve the type of consistent success that the Chiefs have been able to build over the last few years.
