Andrew Booth Jr. - CB

Andrew Booth Jr., again, failed to make an impression in his second preseason game of 2023, and his chances of making the Vikings' final roster are looking very dicey.

He missed some tackles, blew some coverages, and his poor play has started to change the narrative from him being injury prone to him not being any good at the game of football.

Booth finally got some positivity surrounding himself during the joint practices with the Titans. He had some pass breakups and even ended one practice with an interception that he tossed toward Tennessee's sidelines in celebration.

It was hoped that he would build off that solid showing with a good game in front of the home crowd, but it just didn't materialize.

Booth has one more chance to make a positive impression with the coaching staff this weekend against the Cardinals. He's likely going to get a long look and needs to make some plays in run support and, obviously, in coverage.

If he is getting roasted in coverage and missing open-field tackles like we've seen the first two games, there will be a long discussion about him making the final 53-man roster.

It would still be a shock if he got let go, but after two disappointing preseason games and another battle with the injury bug, the possibility is very real.
