Star Candidate No. 1

T.J. Hockenson - TE

When you think of star tight ends in the NFL today, you immediately think of Travis Kelce or George Kittle, and for good reason, those two are the best of the best at their position. To the casual football fan, T.J. Hockenson may not be a star name like the other two mentioned before, mostly because he's spent the majority of his career with the Detroit Lions.

Production-wise, you can make the case that Hockenson has solidified himself as a star in this league. Other than Kelce, no other tight end was as productive as Hockenson was last season with both Detroit and then with the Vikings, but it seems as though he's not considered a star at the position quite yet.

A full offseason in Kevin O'Connell's system could pay dividends for Hockenson to earn himself the title of "star". It is clear that Hockenson is Kevin O'Connell and Kirk Cousins' second choice when it comes to distributing the football, and with Jefferson expected to see a historic number of double teams from opposing defenses, Hockenson could see a massive increase in targets and solidify himself as a top-three tight end in this game.
