Brian Asamoah - ILB
Inside linebackers, traditionally, are not of huge importance in a Brian Flores defense. Jerome Baker and Elandon Roberts held down the middle of the defense during Flores' tenure in Miami.
Brian Asamoah, however, is a different style of linebacker for Flores to use. Asamoah is a fast, athletic inside linebacker who can rush the passer, stuff holes in the run game, and can hold his own in coverage when he is asked to, along with a keen sense for finding the ball, and he excels when asked to play in space.
Long story short, Asamoah should be best described as "a weapon" for Flores in 2023. The current state of the Vikings' defense is a bleak one, and they are clearly trying to rebuild that unit, but this gives Asamoah an opportunity to stand out.

Minnesota would love it if even one of these players cemented themselves as a top player at their position, but there is no doubt that these four will have huge parts to play in the 2023 season.
