Greg Joseph - K

Greg Joseph was shaky as the Vikings kicker a season ago. He had an excellent training camp hitting from just about anywhere, and he rarely missed a kick.

The problem was that when the season started, he was far from a sure thing. He did make some clutch kicks for the Vikings, but overall made just 78.8 percent of his kicks and hit only 87 percent of his extra points.

The team wasn't concerned as they brought Joseph back for another go around when they signed him in free agency. After the draft, the Vikings signed some competition in the form of Georgia kicker Jack Podlesny. This creates a camp battle, and if Joseph isn't on his game, he could lose his starting job to a rookie.

Joseph will have to be quite bad for this to happen. There are reasons Podlesny wasn't drafted. His accuracy on field goals 40 yards and beyond is quite bad, and he isn't known for having an overly strong leg.

Still, Podlesny appears to be rotating kicks with Joseph in camp and seems like a much bigger threat than last year's undrafted kicker Gabe Brkic. Anything is possible, as Ryan Wright showed a season ago, and if Podlesny proves to be the better man this summer, he could become the Vikings' new kicker.
