Lewis Cine - S

Even though his tenure with the Vikings has been significantly less impressive, the chances of Lewis Cine getting traded before the start of the regular season seem just about as low as the chances of T.J. Hockenson being dealt.

However, just as in the case with Hockenson, it's not something that should be ruled out as a possibility. We know Minnesota general manager Kwesi Adofo-Mensah likes to make trades (15 so far in his short tenure with the team), but would he be willing to part with his first-ever draft pick with the Vikings if the right offer was presented to him?

Cine's time with Minnesota so far has definitely been underwhelming. No one is going to argue against that. But not every player who comes into the NFL makes an instant impact at a high level like Vikings wide receiver Justin Jefferson did when he was a rookie in 2020.

For every Jefferson, there's a Kyle Rudolph, a Dalvin Cook, or an Xavier Rhodes who requires a year or two to adjust to the pros.

It seems too early for Adofo-Mensah and Minnesota to give up on Cine. The Vikings drafted him in the first round for a reason, and he deserves to be given more time to reach his potential.
