Player No. 3

Trishton Jackson - WR

Trishton Jackson is a player who was getting a lot of buzz early in camp and being praised in just about every single camp recap post or video that has come out. Jackson has been burning by defenders and making acrobatic catches, looking very Justin Jefferson-esque.

Jackson has been putting in extra work with K.J. Osborn and Jefferson after practices, and it looks like those extra reps have done him well. His route running is sharp, and his ability to track the ball and know when to go up and make a play on it is very impressive.

Obviously, the injury he suffered last week puts a damper on the excellent camp he was having. The silver lining is that there appears to be no ligament damage to his knee, and hopefully, he'll be back on the field soon.

Jackson has a real shot to make the team as the Vikings' fifth or sixth wide receiver. He can be an explosive depth piece and someone Minnesota may want to get on the field in certain formations for the games that count.
