With their roster for the 2023 regular season now complete, who are some of the recently cut players the Minnesota Vikings could regret moving on from?

The Minnesota Vikings 2023 roster is basically finalized. They've added a couple of pieces from other teams' leftovers and have named the majority of their practice squad.

In getting down to 53 players, the Vikings had to make some tough decisions. They had to, first of all, keep the best players on the team, but also had to strategically think who would and wouldn't clear waivers should they be released.

Minnesota dodged most of their bullets, with only tight end Ben Sims getting signed to another team's active roster. They were able to sign some very intriguing and potentially impactful players to their practice squad, but with that comes some risk.

Once the season gets going, other teams can snipe a player from another team's practice squad as long as they are signed to the active roster. That means some of the cut players who ended up on the Vikings' 16-player practice squad may not stay with them for the entire season.

This also means that Minnesota could ultimately regret leaving some of these players open to be had by other clubs. If a young player whom the Vikings were planning to invest in and develop gets sniped by another team and turns into a productive player, then Kwesi Adofo-Mensah and Kevin O'Connell could kick themselves for making the choices they did.

So let's look at a few players whom Minnesota could regret cutting in 2023, starting with a wide receiver who got off to a hot start during this summer's training camp.
