Reason No. 1

Eagles will be without two key starters on defense

It may not make any difference in this game, but the Vikings will take any sliver of an advantage that they can get against Jalen Hurts and the Eagles. Linebacker Nakobe Dean and cornerback James Bradberry will miss Thursday night's clash.

Bradberry plays a huge role in Philadelphia's defense as their 1B cornerback with Darius Slay. With Bradberry out, 2022 undrafted free agent Josh Jobe is in line to make his first career start. It is safe to assume the Vikings will try to match Justin Jefferson up with Jobe any chance they get.

Eagles second-year middle linebacker Nakobe Dean is also going to be sidelined for close to a month with a foot injury. The Eagles will rely on the likes of Christian Elliss or Nicholas Morrow to fill the void that Dean will leave. Expect Minnesota tight ends to be heavily involved in the game plan on Thursday night.
