The Minnesota Vikings loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers was a horrible way to start the 2023 season. But there are still some positives to take away from it.

The Minnesota Vikings 2023 season kicked off in the worst way with a loss at home to the Baker Mayfield-led Tampa Bay Buccaneers this past Sunday.

Losing is always a bitter pill to swallow, but when the wounds are self-inflicted, like the three turnovers the Vikings had, it is even more difficult to take.

While the loss was awful, there were still some positives for Minnesota to take away from this game. It wasn't all doom and gloom, and there were aspects of the Vikings that looked very good in Week 1.

There were things to be excited about on defense, and on offense, we got a look at how explosive Minnesota's passing attack can be this year.

The Vikings have a tough game on a short week against the Philadelphia Eagles on Thursday. They have a lot of areas to clean up, but let's go over some silver linings from the loss that the team can build off of.
