Silver Lining No. 4

There's still a lot of season left

This is the biggest silver lining from the loss to the Bucs. Yes, it is a horrible way to start the season and it was a game the team should've won, but it's just Week 1. There is a ton of football left to be played.

The Vikings weren't going to have an undefeated season. They will lose some games. The NFL is full of very good teams, and even the teams that are bad are full of extremely talented players who can put it together for one day and shock a team that is perceived to be better.

It happens to every team, and just look at the Kansas City Chiefs a year ago, they dropped a game to the Indianapolis Colts, who ended up picking in the top four of the 2023 NFL Draft.

Minnesota's upcoming schedule doesn't look very easy, with a game on the road against the Eagles and then the explosive Los Angeles Chargers' offense at home.

Even if they go 0-3 or 1-2, there's plenty of time for the Vikings to find their groove and go on a winning streak. It's only September, and one loss at home to a perceived bad team won't make or break the entire 2023 season.
