If Kirk Cousins doesn't work out a new deal with the Minnesota Vikings, who are a few veteran quarterbacks the team could bring in to replace him?

With Kirk Cousins currently scheduled to become a free agent just a few months after suffering a torn Achilles, there's a very real possibility that the Minnesota Vikings are going to have a new starting quarterback for the 2024 season.

Cousins and the Vikings have both said they would like to work out a new deal with each other, but they also both said that the deal has to be fair for both sides.

After Minnesota and the veteran quarterback were unable to agree to an extension last year, the end of Cousins's tenure in the Twin Cities certainly seems closer than ever.

So, if the two sides end up agreeing to go their separate ways this offseason, the Vikings will then have to figure out who is going to replace Cousins in the starting lineup for the 2024 season.

This year's NFL Draft pool is full of intriguing young quarterbacks, but with Minnesota currently slotted in the No. 11 position in the first round, there's no guarantee that they will be able to land the guy they want.

It's possible that the Vikings might try to trade up in the first round before the draft in April, but for this specific exercise, we're going to stick to quarterbacks who have already spent a few seasons in the NFL.

So let's take a look at a few veteran signal-callers Minnesota could make their starter for the 2024 season if Cousins doesn't end up re-signing with the team.
