Austin Schlottmann - C

Last week, it was Ed Ingram who got the bulk of the outrage along the interior of the offensive line, so this week, that "trophy" is passed on to Austin Schlottmann. With Garrett Bradbury out with a back injury, Schlottmann kept his place as he had for most of the Week 1 matchup.

Once again, Kirk Cousins was met with constant pressure up the middle, albeit the Eagles' defensive line is as good as it gets. Schlottmann has been far from great in his fill-in duties, and that has caused mayhem for the Vikings offensively.

To be fair, a backup center should not be relied upon at any point, especially when he goes up against Jalen Carter and Jordan Davis. The Vikings are dealing with injuries all over the place on the offensive line, and it is imperative that Schlottmann steps up and gives them some sort of hope until Bradbury is ready to go.

Kirk Cousins has been really good over the past two games despite being absolutely crushed nearly every time he drops back to pass. It wouldn't be inconceivable to think the Vikings could put up some serious numbers if they could just buy him a tad more time in the pocket.

The loss to the Eagles was set up by a poor offensive line performance, and with Oli Udoh going down with a season-ending injury and Ed Ingram already taking a lot of the blame from last week, Schlottmann is this week's scapegoat, which may not be totally fair to him.
