5 members of the 2023 Vikings we will (probably) forget ever played for the team

Josh Dobbs - QB
One might read this and ask themselves, "Who could ever forget 'The Passtronaut?'"
Sure, it seems crazy to think that now, but honestly, with all the talk going around about the future of Kirk Cousins and the Vikings acquiring a quarterback in this year's NFL Draft, Josh Dobbs is already fading into the deepest crevices of our minds.
Dobbs was acquired from the Arizona Cardinals right before the trade deadline this past season and he was quickly forced into action when Jaren Hall went down with an injury in Week 9.
That performance was legendary, as Dobbs was throwing to players who he didn't even know the names of. He was also being told how the plays were supposed to work in the huddle, and he truly had to learn on the fly.
Using his elite mental capacity and his insane athletic ability, Dobbs was able to lead the Vikings to an improbable win and an incredible moment.
The magic continued for about another half against the New Orleans Saints in Week 10 as he continued to make amazing plays with his legs and do enough with his arm to lead Minnesota to a huge halftime lead that the team was barely able to hold on to.
Dobbs' true colors showed in the second half against the Saints. Then they carried over into the Denver game in Week 11, got worse against the Bears in Week 12, and then he was mercifully pulled at halftime against the Raiders in Week 14 after getting Justin Jefferson hurt and leading the Vikings' offense to zero points.
Dobbs was quickly pushed down the depth chart, and Nick Mullens and Jaren Hall were thrust into the spotlight.
Dobbs will always have one of the most meteoric rises and exciting couple-game stretches of quarterback play in Vikings history. But in a few years, many will probably have to be reminded of his time in Minnesota.
