Will the Minnesota Vikings continue their recent success and improve their record to 4-4 by getting a win over the Green Bay Packers in Week 8?
After getting off to a 1-4 start, the Minnesota Vikings have revived their season with wins over the Chicago Bears and the San Francisco 49ers. Their reward is a trip to Lambeau Field, where they will take on a Green Bay Packers in a crucial matchup in the NFC playoff picture.
A win for the Vikings would go a long way in their push for a playoff spot. With the Tampa Bay Buccaneers suffering another loss on Thursday, Minnesota enters Week 8 as the seventh and final seed in the NFC playoff bracket and two games back of the Detroit Lions for the lead in the NFC North.
Even better news is that Sunday’s game will kick off a stretch where five of the Vikings’ next six opponents are under .500.
This includes the Packers, who are on the verge of a lost season. The Jordan Love experiment doesn’t seem to be going well, and with a plethora of injuries on both sides of the ball, talk has shifted from a potential playoff spot to a tank job in order to get Caleb Williams or Drake Maye.
