Camryn Bynum - S

Camryn Bynum has been one of the few players from the 2021 draft class to pan out, but he hasn't become an impact player in the Vikings secondary.

In his first season as a starter, Bynum graded 72nd among 80 safeties with 20 percent of the league lead in snaps. He also had frequent miscommunications in the secondary, which led to big plays in a scheme that was supposed to stop them.

The common thought is that the arrival of Brian Flores should help Bynum and the rest of the secondary next season. But if Bynum struggles, the Vikings could clear $1.2 million in cap space by releasing him next season.

That won't make a major difference in the Vikings' plans – as Kirk Cousins has a $28.5 million void year for next season – but much like Cam Dantzler, Bynum will have plenty to prove in 2024.
