Kene Nwangwu is one of the most electric kick returners in the NFL as he’s scored three touchdowns while averaging 28.3 yards per return over his two seasons in the league, and he was a Second Team All-Pro player last season.

He had the second most kick return yards and the fifth-highest yards per return, along with a touchdown this past season as well. Nwangwu is firmly entrenched as the return man, though he also should get more opportunities to run the ball with the absence of Dalvin Cook.

He clearly possesses a great burst while blowing past defenders when in the open field, but he has never been given much of a chance to prove himself as a running back as well. He will be competing internally with Ty Chandler and Dewayne McBride for backup reps at the position, but his kick-returning abilities may hinder his opportunities as a running back.

He ran a 4.32 40-yard dash during his Pro Day in 2021, placing him as the second-fastest runner on the Vikings roster.
