Former Viking No. 5

Tyler Conklin - TE (New York Jets)

Tyler Conklin didn't exactly light the world on fire this year, but he did produce the best season of his NFL career.

Conklin was a player that many Vikings fans enjoyed during his tenure with the team, as his long hair, big beard, and a multitude of tattoos connected him with fans right away.

Conklin will finish this season as the third-leading pass-catcher on the New York Jets roster, trailing the team's promising receiver Garrett Wilson and running back Breece Hall.

Heading into Week 18, Conklin has 59 receptions for 605 yards and could add to that total in the Jets regular-season finale against the New England Patriots.

His stats aren't massive, but it's respectable production for a player working in one of the more dysfunctional offenses in the NFL.

Conklin is a solid player, and he could continue to build his way up if he keeps producing as he's done during the 2023 campaign.

The veteran tight end was a player that many fans enjoyed during his time in Minnesota, and he was truly someone who embodied being a Viking.

So here's to more successful seasons for Conklin, and maybe one day, he'll find his way back to where it all began.
