Marcus Peters - CB

2022 Team: Baltimore Ravens

There had been some chatter recently regarding the possibility of the Vikings adding former Los Angeles Rams and Baltimore Ravens cornerback Marcus Peters and for good reason. Minnesota's cornerback room is still very young and inexperienced, and if they plan to contend in 2023, they desperately need to add another veteran at the corner position.

Peters would slot in immediately as one of the two starting outside corners in Brian Flores' defense. When healthy, Peters is an expert at man coverage and a ballhawk to boot. There is still a bit of a durability question for Peters, however, since he did suffer an ACL tear in 2021.

But for the All-Pro corner, Minnesota seems like an obvious destination. The Vikings need cornerbacks, and more specifically, they need corners that can play man coverage.

Playing man-to-man is Peters' bread and butter, and with the guidance of Flores, the veteran could potentially return to playing at an elite level.
