Player No. 1
Jaren Hall - QB
Let's get one thing clear right off the bat, Jaren Hall doesn't need a solid performance against the Titans to better his position of making the final 53-man roster. He's more than likely going to be a member of Minnesota's practice squad, and a good preseason game isn't going to change that. He needs a good performance to gain some confidence.
Hall really didn't stand a chance against the Seahawks. He had pressure in his face every single time he dropped back, had to scramble left or right to avoid the heat, and then just threw the ball away. He ended up completing six out of 14 passes for 37 yards, highlighted by a really nice ball to N'Keal Harry.
Hall needs to be given the opportunity to stand tall in the pocket and actually go through some reads. His offensive line needs to step up their game to allow this to happen. He will never feel comfortable if he's under constant duress. If it happens a second week in a row, he could understandably develop happy feet every time he drops back in the future.
Maybe Kevin O'Connell can help him out by calling some quick hitters to allow him to get some completions under his belt and get the offense moving. The kid's got talent, you just hate to see his confidence ruined because of horrible protection up front.
