Za'Darius Smith is gone after just one season with the Minnesota Vikings. Who are five other members of the purple who could suffer the same fate?

The Minnesota Vikings recently traded away Za'Darius Smith to the Cleveland Browns. He was brought in last offseason on a two-year deal and played extremely well in the first half of his tenure with the team before tailing off the second part of his stint.

It shocked many when he immediately listed his home in Minnesota for sale after the team was eliminated from the playoffs and then went on social media to say goodbye to the fans.

He was done after one season in Minnesota, and many years down the road, some Vikings fans may even forget he was on the team.

There are some current veterans on Minnesota's roster who were also signed last offseason whose positions on the team are far from guaranteed as the preseason looms on the horizon.

Some of these players could be on the bubble because of a subpar first season with the team. Others could just be expendable due to some younger players that were brought in and the team wanting to go with a youth movement at their respective position.

Whatever the reason, there are a handful of Vikings who could follow Za'Darius Smith and be done with Minnesota after just one season with the team.

Here are five of those players.
