Jonathan Bullard - DL

Jonathan Bullard was signed by the Vikings last June and shockingly made the final 53-man roster. The versatile journeyman defensive lineman played in 12 games and started seven of those. He played decently, totaling 23 tackles, and had five tackles for a loss.

Bullard will find it a little more challenging to make the Vikings roster this preseason. They only kept six defensive linemen last year, and if they do the same, there could be only three spots up for grabs. Harrison Phillips, Khyiris Tonga, and Dean Lowry are all locks to make the team, but after that, it is up in the air.

Bullard will have to battle veterans like James Lynch, Ross Blacklock, and Sheldon Day. He'll also have to outperform young players who were brought in by this regime in Esezi Otomewo, Jaquelin Roy, and undrafted big man Calvin Avery.

Bullard defied the odds in 2022 and will have to do the same again this summer. If he can't rise to the occasion, he'll be another player whose career with the Minnesota Vikings will go down with just one solitary season with the club.
