3. Tayson Hill will be the key to the Saints offense

There have been many villains in the Vikings' rivalry with the Saints, but one of the low-key figures has been Taysom Hill. Hill has been a thorn in the side of the Vikings dating back to a strong performance in the 2019 Wild Card game, but his emergence in the New Orleans offense could make him a key figure on Sunday.

Hill has carved out a big role in the red zone over the last three weeks, scoring five touchdowns and running for 123 yards. With the ability to pass the ball (5-for-6, 72 yards, 1 TD), he’s a trick play waiting to happen on an offense that hasn’t found consistency this season.

The Saints have other weapons that can hurt the Vikings, but none of them have had a tremendous year. Alvin Kamara is still a threat in the passing game but is averaging a career-low 3.6 yards per carry. Chris Olave is a deep threat that hasn’t exceeded 60 yards in the last three games, and Derek Carr hasn’t been the stabilizing force the Saints thought they were signing last spring.

Put it together, and Hill could be the key for the Saints and something the Vikings will have to focus on come Sunday.
