The Minnesota Vikings will try to avoid going 0-4 when they travel to visit Adam Thielen and the Carolina Panthers for a Week 4 matchup.

To steal a quote from Yogi Berra, it’s getting late early for the Minnesota Vikings. At 0-3, one more loss would match the Vikings’ total from a 13-win season a year ago and effectively end any hope of making a return trip to the playoffs.

In order to change their fate, the Vikings will have to defeat a winless Carolina Panthers team in Week 4, but the internal matchup may be tougher than the one on the opposing sideline.

The Vikings' offseason was filled with chaos and has set the tone for a rough start to the season. Turnovers are still a problem, and the offensive line has continued its struggles from a year ago.

The running game is also a mess, and without the same luck that helped Kevin O’Connell in his first year, a lost season is becoming a possibility in Minnesota.

Mix in a Panthers team that has some tough matchups along with a familiar face on the sideline, and Sunday’s trip to Charlotte has all the makings of a trap game.

But in this article, we’ll make five bold predictions to see if the Vikings can avoid their first 0-4 start since 2011, starting with one about some changes to Minnesota's offensive line.
