Player No. 2
Bradley Roby - CB
The Vikings cornerback room seems to be a revolving door with very little stability. The offseason signing of Byron Murphy will certainly help solidify the oft-struggling Minnesota corners, but there is still work to be done.
While young players like Akayleb Evans and Mekhi Blackmon are looking to make a name for themselves, the Vikings adding another corner into the mix would be a welcome sight, especially a corner that has performed at a very high level in the past.
The New Orleans Saints made a surprising move when they recently released veteran cornerback Bradley Roby, and he will certainly have many suitors hoping to sign him.
Minnesota should clearly be one of those suitors, as not only would Roby be a potential starter/high-end depth piece, but he would bring a successful veteran presence to a young corner room that is now without Patrick Peterson, who signed with the Pittsburgh Steelers earlier this year.
Roby also brings something to the table that not even Peterson brought, or something that Harrison Smith currently brings, and that's championship experience. Roby was part of the Denver Broncos team that won during Super Bowl 50, which gives him valuable insights into what it takes to be a champion in the NFL.
Veteran leadership goes a long way in the NFL, and Roby is the best veteran available at a position Minnesota is in need of.
