5 pending Vikings free agents who (probably) won't return in 2024

Vikings who may not be back in 2024
K.J. Osborn, WR
This one is going to sting a bit, but there is a pretty good chance that the Minnesota Vikings won't be able to bring young wide receiver K.J. Osborn back to the team after his contract expires, especially if he tests free agency.
There is no reason to believe that Osborn is itching to leave Minnesota, but several teams could see him more as a WR2 than a WR3 and he may never get that promotion with the Vikings after they drafted Jordan Addison this year.
Of course, there is a chance that I'm overestimating the demand that K.J. Osborn will have in free agency but unless he gets an opportunity to try, it's hard to know if he could handle a regular starting offensive role.
Without being able to offer him more opportunities or a big payday, a parting of the Minnesota Vikings and K.J. Osborn feels inevitable. And that's a bit of a shame, but players need a chance to bet on themselves, even if it means leaving a pretty good situation.
