Prediction No. 3

Kirk Cousins will be pressured on 45 percent of his dropbacks

The Eagles pressured Mac Jones on 31 percent of his dropbacks last week but only blitzed on just over 22 percent of their defensive snaps last week. How is this possible? It’s because the Eagles' defensive line is filled with players that can blow up a team’s game plan.

Seven different Eagles recorded a quarterback pressure in Week 1, and the Eagles’ interior defenders generated 15 of the 23 pressures that came from the defensive line.

If you’re a Vikings fan, you know why this is a problem. Garrett Bradbury lost the loss to the Buccaneers with a back injury and is considered day-to-day. Ed Ingram only allowed four pressures but could be credited with a strip sack on the Vikings’ first fumble of the game. Ezra Cleveland was the lone Viking to have a solid day in the trenches but was brutal in the running game.

The common thread is that all three are interior offensive linemen who will be going up against one of the best defensive lines in the NFL – especially in the middle.

With the Eagles likely to generate pressure up front, it could be another long day for Cousins in the pocket.
