Prediction No. 5

The Vikings will fall to 0-2

You can insert all the statistics about teams that are 0-2 and their odds of making the playoffs here. Long story short? Teams that lose their first two games usually are making vacation plans by December.

In the case of the Vikings, there’s a good chance they could fall into that hole. Philadelphia is the type of team they couldn’t find a way to beat last season, and they’re playing them in an environment that ate them alive one year ago.

There were some positives to take away from last week’s loss, but the reality is that Tampa Bay was a team they needed to beat. Now, the Vikings are facing three playoff teams (Philadelphia, LA Chargers, Kansas City) in the next four weeks and could be staring at a 1-4 start in the face.

Such a start could lead the Vikings to ask some serious questions about their future, and those questions could start to grow louder with another loss to Philadelphia.

Prediction: Eagles win 31-10
