Second-year Vikings who could make an impact

Ed Ingram, guard

To be polite, Ed Ingram didn't have his best year as a rookie getting plugged in as the starting right guard of the Minnesota Vikings. In fact, fans were frustrated with the young man's play more often than not.

Seeing him trip his own quarterback or get blown past by defenders was disheartening but the team seems to be patient with Ingram and he will likely return as the starter at right guard for the 2023 NFL season.

Ingram played all 17 regular-season games for the Vikings as a rookie, playing 1,168 snaps on offense and 81 special teams snaps, proving that he is durable and can withstand the wear and tear of a full NFL season.

The ability of Ingram to take a step forward during his second season will be paramount to the success of the Minnesota Vikings offense in 2023. Even a small improvement should help a talented team with a lot of weapons be even more effective.
