Ivan Pace Jr. - LB (Cincinnati)

Ivan Pace Jr. is the Vikings' undrafted free-agent signing who is getting the fans all excited. It's for good reason too. This kid plays the game like his butt is on fire, flying to the football and throwing his body in harm's way to make a tackle.

Pace is very fun to watch and was also very productive in his years at Cincinnati. He racked up 306 total tackles, 41.5 tackles for a loss, and an eye-popping 20 sacks. The dude can bring it, and he brings it every single snap of the football.

So the question is, why did this ultra-productive, high-energy linebacker go undrafted? The easy answer is his size. Pace is a little on the short side, standing just over 5-foot-10, but the real issue is his arm length. He has t-rex-sized arms at 30.25 inches, and history isn't on his side when it comes to professional linebackers with that arm length panning out. There's a fear he won't be able to get off blocks against the bigger, stronger linemen he'll face in the pros.

He also had a poor workout at his Pro Day, and all those factors were enough for teams to bypass his production and be scared off by those physical limitations.

That being said, Pace is a firey combatant who will only be more motivated by not getting chosen. He's the favorite from this group to make the roster and even have an impact in 2023.
