5 undrafted free agents who could make the Vikings final 2023 roster

Calvin Avery - DT (Illinois)
Calvin Avery is the definition of a run stuffer. The man was built to clog running lanes, and push and collapse pockets, making the lives of running backs, and run games of teams in general, a complete nightmare.
Avery is massive at 6-foot-1 and 343 pounds. He's got a powerful upper body which he showed when he put up 225 pounds 31 times at the Scouting Combine this year. He is on the field for one reason, to take up space, and he does that extremely effectively.
The fact that he's a one-trick pony is what made him available after the draft. He won't bring any interior pressure and shouldn't be on the field if there's even any remote hint the team may be throwing the ball. That being said, there could be room for him on this Vikings roster.
The Vikings aren't very deep on their defensive line, especially when it comes to nose tackle. Harrison Phillips started the majority of the games in the middle of the last season, but he could be bumped out to defensive end.
That would leave Khyiris Tonga as the starter and rookie Jaquelin Roy as the backup. Avery could be the next in line if he's impressive in this year's OTAs and in training camp.
