5 worst players who could make the 2023 Minnesota Vikings

Greg Joseph - K
Greg Joseph is in line to be the Vikings kicker again in 2023. All he has to do is beat out an undrafted rookie. That seems very likely, but it's actually surprising that he is even in this position after the season he had in 2022.
Just to refresh the memory, Joseph hit 26 out of 33 field goal attempts for a paltry 78.8% which was near the bottom of the league. He also made just 87 percent of his extra points, often killing momentum for the Vikings and keeping hope alive for inferior opponents. There's no way to sugarcoat it, Greg Joseph was awful last season.
So why could he be the kicker again in 2023? The first answer is simple, the team could've moved on if they had wanted to. There were plenty of quality kickers available in free agency, with Robbie Gould, Mason Crosby, and Ryan Succop being just a few. Instead of moving on, the Vikings resigned Joseph, showing they are dedicated to their kicker even if he was far from perfect.
The other reason Joseph could be brought back is that he actually didn't cost the Vikings any games. Yes, he missed a ton of extra points and some field goal attempts, but when the game was on the line, Joseph was money. He hit five field goals in London against the Saints and kicked game-winners against the Giants, Colts, and Bills.
Joseph has to earn his job in camp, and unless his numbers improve dramatically in 2023, he'll be one of the worst players to make the final 53-man roster of the Vikings.
