5 worst players who could make the 2023 Minnesota Vikings

Bobby Evans - OT
The newest member of the Minnesota Vikings may be one of the worst players on the entire 90-man roster, yet could still make the final 53. Bobby Evans was historically bad a season ago. He played in 314 snaps for the Rams last season and was flagged for three penalties, and allowed a pants-dropping seven sacks. His PFF grade was an insanely low 29.8. How that is even possible is the question to ask.
Despite the horrible year, Kevin O'Connell went the familiar route, as he spent time with Evans in Los Angeles and decided to give him a shot. So if Evans is so bad, then why did the Vikings sign him, and how could he possibly still make the team? The answer to that is Evans is much better at tackle than he is at guard.
The Rams moved Evans inside, and he struggled to pick up his responsibilities, often looking lost and uncertain. The Vikings announced him as an offensive tackle which is his more natural position. Evans will be behind as he enters camp, being he was just signed a few days ago.
That being said, he will be battling a second-year player and a couple of undrafted free agents for the fifth tackle spot, assuming the team keeps that many. His versatility should also help him when the final decisions are made. If he does make it, he no doubt will be one of the statistically worst players on the entire team.
