When you look at the numbers for Drew Sanders, it's confusing to see that he isn't as highly touted a prospect as you'd expect. Sanders has good size and solid athletic traits for the next level too, so why has he fallen through the cracks? The biggest knock on Sanders is that he is a man without a home, he does not fit a typical role as an inside or an outside linebacker.

Drew Sanders is on the small side as an edge rusher, and he's still inexperienced as an off-ball linebacker, which raises concerns about what exactly he'll play at the next level. When you compare the stats with his game tape, there is no doubt that the kid can play, though.

Last season was his first as a starter after transferring to Arkansas, and he put up videogame-like numbers, but he is still pretty new as an off-ball linebacker, which could raise some red flags. The thing about Sanders and his potential fit in Minnesota is that he is incredible when it comes to getting to the QB, something that new DC Brian Flores would love to have on his team.

Sanders still has plenty of room to grow as an inside linebacker, but the tools are there. He just needs someone to take a chance on him.
