Best Minnesota Vikings newcomer No. 6

Josh Oliver, tight end

There can be arguments about the contract that Josh Oliver signed with the Minnesota Vikings but there isn't much debate that he has been living up to the expectations that the team and fans had for him when he arrived with the purple and gold.

Oliver inked a three-year deal worth $21 million this offseason which seemed like a lot for a tight end that was primarily viewed as a blocker. However, he has proven to be more than a one-trick pony for Minnesota.

The six-foot-five, 259-pound tight end has been a sneaky receiving option for the Vikings this season. He has caught a career-high 18 passes for 132 yards and two touchdowns in his 14 games played.

Josh Oliver is a great complement to the recently extended T.J. Hockenson, giving the Minnesota Vikings a strong tight end group to go with a strong receiving corp. The future could be very bright for the offense.
