6. The Vikings will win a playoff game

Looking back about a month ago, it was hard to envision the Vikings making the playoffs. Just one week ago, it looked like Vikings fans were going to spend the second half scouting draft prospects on YouTube. But the Vikings have established themselves as an ascending team, and it should continue in the second half of the season.

Dobbs should become more comfortable in the offense and will get a major weapon back with the return of Jefferson. While the backfield could continue to be an issue, the defense has stepped up to be good enough to pick the offense up when they need it.

The Vikings stopped turning the ball over as much as they did in the first four weeks, and the NFC appears to be wide open. With a win over the San Francisco 49ers under their belt and a slew of teams that have their flaws, the Vikings should have enough to win their first playoff game since 2019.

If you’re hoping for a Super Bowl, you’re bound to be disappointed. But the Vikings should be a competitive team for the rest of the season.
