6 free-agent defensive linemen the Vikings could sign in 2024

Free-Agent Defensive Lineman No. 2
Chris Jones
2023 Team: Kansas City Chiefs
It will most likely cost the Vikings many millions per year, but it would be worth it to add Chris Jones to their roster.
As a member of the Chiefs since 2016, he is a two-time Super Bowl champion, a five-time Pro Bowler, and a five-time All-Pro.
The 6-foot-6, 310-pound Jones is coming off his second consecutive double-digit sack season, despite missing the first game of the 2023 campaign while holding out for a new contract.
Kansas City finally agreed on a one-year deal and Jones had 10.5 sacks in 16 games. That number comes on the heels of a 15.5 sack season in 2022.
During his career, Jones has had nine or more sacks five times, he has bagged 15.5 quarterbacks in a season twice (2018 and 2022), and last season, PFF gave him a 90+ grade in two categories.
Signing him would immediately upgrade the Vikings' defense and give the defensive line instant street cred as a group to watch in 2024.
