Jacoby Brissett is another player on this list of potential quarterbacks the Vikings could sign who has just found his niche in the league as a backup.
He's got great size at 6-foot-4 and 235 pounds and plenty of arm strength. Brissett has loads of experience starting 48 games in his career.
His win/loss record isn't great, but he's a player who may not make a ton of plays to win you games, but he also won't make those killer mistakes that lose them.
Brissett has been pretty good at protecting the football in his career. He's thrown 51 touchdowns to 23 interceptions.
He's completed 61.3 percent of his passes and tossed over 10,000 yards in his career. He sometimes holds onto the ball too long and will take sacks when a starting quarterback throws it away.
Brissett is a nice bridge quarterback. He's been around a long time, played in a lot of different offensive schemes, and has faced pretty much every defense that is out there today.
He could pass a lot of knowledge down to a young quarterback and teach him how to be a pro. Brissett also wouldn't break the bank and could be productive enough to keep Jefferson and Addison happy.
